Jimmy The Gent

James Burke, also known as Jimmy the Gent, and The Irishman, born July 5, 1931 – April 13, 1996, was an Irish American gangster and Lucchese crime family associate who is believed to have organized the Lufthansa heist in 1978 and also believed to have orchestrated the murder of (or murdered) many of those involved in the months following. He is the father of small-time mobster and Lufthansa heist suspect, Frankie Burke, as well as of Jesse James Burke, Catherine Burke (who married Bonanno crime family member Anthony Indelicato in 1992), and another unidentified daughter.
Burke inspired the character "Jimmy 'The Gent' Conway" in the 1990 movie GoodFellas; he died of lung cancer in prison in 1996.
Jimmy Burke was depicted by Robert De Niro in the 1990 Martin Scorsese film Goodfellas as "Jimmy Conway". It was claimed that at the time, Jimmy Burke was so happy to have Robert De Niro play him that he telephoned him from prison to give him a few pointers. Author and screen-writer Nicholas Pileggi denies this, saying De Niro and Burke had never spoken, but admitting that there were men around the set all the time who had known all of the principal characters very well. Burke was played by Donald Sutherland in the 2001 television movie The Big Heist which portrays the events of the Lufthansa Heist.

PLEASE NOTE:

It is assumed in all makeMZ Rubber Band Guns
that the end user will decide how thick they want
the  parts of the gun to be.
If you have a lower powered laser you can cut all parts from 3mm or 1/8th
inch woods and glue them as shown in the assembly guides.
Or you can use thicker materials if you have a more powerful laser
or CNC router. It is important to note that if cutting with a CNC router you will need to sand and file certain parts of the guns to get proper fitting square corners on parts.
Also, the length and size of bolts and nuts used are your choice, although we recommend
4-40 machine screws with T-nuts for a flush finish and if using metric you will need to use the equivalent.
You will need a selection of rubber bands, small springs and small eyelets and hooks to
complete most of these projects. These items should all be available at your local hardware store.
You can easily change the hole size in the DXF using your CAD software but do not change the position of holes.
You may also want to customize the guns stocks and handles using thicker exotic woods and sanding and engraving paths
The main trigger mechanisms and moving parts should be cut from 3mm or 1/8th
thick material in most cases.
