HO or H0 is the most popular scale of model railway in the world
According to the NMRA standard S-1.2 predominantly used in North America, in HO scale, 3.5 mm (0.1378 in) represents 1 real foot (304.8 mm); this ratio works out to 1:87.0857142, usually rounded to 1:87.1.[3] According to the MOROP standard NEM 010 predominantly used in Europe, the scale is exactly 1:87.[4] In HO, rails are spaced 16.5 mm (0.64961 in) apart which models the standard railroad gauge of 1,435 mm (4 ft 8 1⁄2 in).[5]
These can be built at larger or smaller sizes for those who want to use them for other purposes and other types of miniatures.
We provide these HO Scale Models for you in 1-16 Inch slot size and you will use 1/16 thick material to make them from to have them remain at HO scale, and 1-8 Inch for those of you who want to make them in larger size scale. We also provide you with the equivelent metric sizes at 1.5 mm, which is HO Scale in Metric and we have also provided 3 mm for those of you who wish to make them as larger models with scroll saws and CNC Routers .
You can continue to scale them up or down by thickness as you require for also sorts of purposes.
