The Whale
Whale is the common name for various marine mammals of the order Cetacea. The term whale sometimes refers to all cetaceans, but more often it excludes dolphins and porpoises, which belong to the suborder Odontoceti, toothed whales. This suborder also includes the sperm whale, killer whale, pilot whale, and beluga whale. The other Cetacean suborder, Mysticeti, baleen whales, comprises filter feeders that eat small organisms caught by straining seawater through a comblike structure found in the mouth called baleen. This suborder includes the blue whale, the humpback whale, the bowhead whale and the minke whale. All cetaceans have forelimbs modified as fins, a tail with horizontal flukes, and nasal openings, or blowholes, on top of the head.
Whales range in size from the blue whale, the largest animal known to have ever existed at 98 feet and 180 long tons, to various pygmy species, such as the pygmy sperm whale at 11 feet. Whales collectively inhabit all the world's oceans and number in the millions, with annual population growth rate estimates for various species ranging from 3% to 13%.
Whales are generally classed as predators, but their food ranges from microscopic plankton to very large animals.

They are supplied as ready-to-cut DXF vector files for CNC routers and EPS for CNC lasers machines.
CNC hobbyists receive excellent value for money with each package containing the following:
Imperial:
1/8 inch
1/4 inch
1/2 inch
Metric:
3mm
6mm
12mm
Both in DXF or EPS format
1 X Clear and concise color assembly manual.
1 product shot in jpg format.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Our 3D Puzzles are made to be cut from material at several thicknesses.
The thickness of material determines the size the puzzle will be when it is assembled. The thicker the material the larger the model will be.
Example: 1/8" uses 1/8" Plywood...1/4" uses 1/4" Plywood, with 1/4 inch the final model will be twice the size of the 1/8th inch version when assembled.
To be able to take advantage of the fillets in the Router versions that compensate for the radius of your Router bit
on inside corners of vectors you must use bits that are half the size of the slot.
E.G 1/4 inch thick plywood means use the 1/4 inch DXF file and a 1/8th inch bit to cut.
All the hard work is done!
Makecnc is excited to bring to the CNC hobbyist a new and ever-expanding library of art and projects made ready-to-cut on your CNC machine! You can either sell the cut out projects as your own product or assemble them for your own enjoyment and to give as gifts to your family and friends.
