Plesiosaurus Marine Reptile


Plesiosaurus inhabited the oceans 200 million years ago,
"Flying" underwater with four wing-like limbs. It's sharp
teeth and snapping jaws formed a deadly trap for small
aquatic animals.  The long necked Plesiosaurus gave its
name to Plesiosaurs, a group of flesh eating marine reptiles
that are now extinct. Along with the dolphin-like Icthyosaurs
and other marine reptiles, Plesiosaurs were the "Sea Dragons"
that inhabited the seas from 65 to 200 million years ago,
while dinosaurs were dominant on land. It seems likely that the
Plesiosaurus gave birth to live young in the water. Plesiosaurus
had a small head on a long neck. It used both its fore and hind
limbs to propel itself through water. To help it stay underwater,
the animal may have swallowed stones to prevent the air in its
lungs from bringing it to the surface. Plesiosaurus was first
identified in 1821 by two amateur scientists studying
Ichthyosaurs in a museum in Great Britain.

Example: 1/8" uses 1/8" Plywood...1/4" uses 1/4" Plywood, etc.
As a rule, although the slots are set to fit the same sized tool, most
people will use a smaller bit size when cutting.
