The Frog
Frogs are a diverse and largely carnivorous group of short-bodied, tailless amphibians composing the order Anura. The oldest fossil "proto-frog" appeared in the early Triassic of Madagascar, but molecular clock dating suggests their origins may extend further back to the Permian, 265 million years ago. Frogs are widely distributed, ranging from the tropics to subarctic regions, but the greatest concentration of species diversity is found in tropical rainforests. There are approximately 4,800 recorded species, making them among the most diverse vertebrate groups.
The body plan of an adult frog is generally characterized by a stout body, protruding eyes, cleft tongue, limbs folded underneath and the absence of a tail. Besides living in fresh water and on dry land, the adults of some species are adapted for living underground or in trees. The skin of the frog is glandular, with secretions ranging from distasteful to toxic. Warty species of frog tend to be called toads. Frog warts are elevations in the skin where glandular toxins tend to concentrate. The distinction between frogs and toads is based on informal naming conventions concentrating on the warts rather than taxonomy or evolutionary history; some toads are more closely related to frogs than other toads. Frogs' skins vary in colour from well-camouflaged dappled brown, grey and green to vivid patterns of bright red or yellow and black to advertise toxicity and warn off predators.

They are supplied as ready-to-cut DXF vector files for CNC routers and EPS for CNC lasers machines.
CNC hobbyists receive excellent value for money with each package containing the following:
Imperial:
1/8 inch
1/4 inch
1/2 inch
Metric:
3mm
6mm
12mm
Both in DXF or EPS format
1 X Clear and concise color assembly manual.
1 product shot in jpg format.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Our 3D Puzzles are made to be cut from material at several thicknesses.
The thickness of material determines the size the puzzle will be when it is assembled. The thicker the material the larger the model will be.
Example: 1/8" uses 1/8" Plywood...1/4" uses 1/4" Plywood, with 1/4 inch the final model will be twice the size of the 1/8th inch version when assembled.
To be able to take advantage of the fillets in the Router versions that compensate for the radius of your Router bit
on inside corners of vectors you must use bits that are half the size of the slot.
E.G 1/4 inch thick plywood means use the 1/4 inch DXF file and a 1/8th inch bit to cut.
All the hard work is done!
Makecnc is excited to bring to the CNC hobbyist a new and ever-expanding library of art and projects made ready-to-cut on your CNC machine! You can either sell the cut out projects as your own product or assemble them for your own enjoyment and to give as gifts to your family and friends.
