The Jurassic Hunt MakeCNC 3D Scene.
This is yet another new innovation from the workshops of makeCNC!
makeCNC's artists have spent several months working on a new inovation in 3D Puzzle Patterns for CNC and Laser cutting. These wonderful and highly detailed 3D Scenes usually have several creatures and elements and are equal to making several single 3D Puzzles so be prepared for a Challange. We have tried to create a broad spectrum of subject matter but please feel free to email us suggestions for future scenes . If these first scenes do well we will be adding many more in the future. Some of the scenes have been created as sets and display common subject matter, however, each scene can by made as a single project.
Please Note: Many parts of this model are very detailed at lower scale like 1/8th and 3mm material thickness and if cut by a CNC router will require very tiny bits to be able to cut all the details. We recommend that Router users cut at at least 1/4 or 6mm scale and still use the smallest bit possible to retain detail. If you understand feeds and speeds well for your router you can still cut these files at 1/8th and 3mm or even smaller but please understand that they are complex and will require some forethought to achieve good results at small scale using a CNC router.
The Models of the Dinosaurs are all Full 3D Models!
Comes in both metric and imperial scales.
Awesome Jurassic Hunt Scene in Full 3D
Dinosaurs, birds, and rodents. Crumbling landmasses and inland seas. Sea monsters, sharks, and blood-red plankton. Forests of ferns, cycads, and conifers. Warm, moist, tropical breezes. This was the Jurassic.
At the start of the period, the breakup of the supercontinent Pangaea continued and accelerated. Laurasia, the northern half, broke up into North America and Eurasia. Gondwana, the southern half, began to break up by the mid-Jurassic. The eastern portion—Antarctica, Madagascar, India, and Australia—split from the western half—Africa and South America. New oceans flooded the spaces in between. Mountains rose on the seafloor, pushing sea levels higher and onto the continents.
All this water gave the previously hot and dry climate a humid and drippy subtropical feel. Dry deserts slowly took on a greener hue. Palm tree-like cycads were abundant, as were conifers such as araucaria and pines. Ginkgoes carpeted the mid- to high northern latitudes, and podocarps, a type of conifer, were particularly successful south of the Equator. Tree ferns were also present.
The oceans, especially the newly formed shallow interior seas, teemed with diverse and abundant life. At the top of the food chain were the long-necked and paddle-finned plesiosaurs, giant marine crocodiles, sharks, and rays. Fishlike ichthyosaurs, squidlike cephalopods, and coil-shelled ammonites were abundant. Coral reefs grew in the warm waters, and sponges, snails, and mollusks flourished. Microscopic, free-floating plankton proliferated and may have turned parts of the ocean red.
